About Mike

There was a time in my life (thankfully it's been a few years) when I knew it had to change.

Separated, single parent, spending too much time at work and very unhappy.

I asked for help. I began getting therapy. I went to support groups.  I began to re-prioritize. It was the beginning of a better life.

I remarried (Celebrated our 25th anniversary last year!), Became a better dad and a way better husband.

My life changed so much for the better, I felt called to help others.

So I went back to school and 18 years ago became a counselor and began working with families, parents and couples who were struggling.

In working with clients and working on my own relationship I've learned a lot about what it takes to make it work. I've learned a lot about what doesn't work along the way too! I offer my clients what I've learned so they can have a better relationship.

Being a guy, I have a unique perspective. I can work well with men. Sometimes that makes me a good option for guys in relationship (And women too!)

I get up every morning loving to go to work. I feel grateful every single day that I have the privilege of  helping as my clients work on a better life.

I am thrilled when I see people grow, find relief and enjoy their lives.  I witness people find a new way to be with each other. I see tenderness, laughter, the joy of good work being done. It's why I do this.
